After years of learning the “ins and outs” of the business side of it all, We felt it was time to make a positive move for my family, and my customers. I had no idea if the business model that I improved upon, would succeed, we ran my first ad. Ten years later, Lynch Pellet Stove Services is Southern New Hampshire’s leading independent pellet stove service provider. We owe it all to all of our great customers, who show us loyalty with repeat business, year after year, with new customers being added to our family every day. Lynch Pellet Stove Services Sponsors Miss NH Outstanding Teen Contestant

Lynch Pellet Stove Services will be running a full page ad in the 2018 Miss New Hampshire Outstanding Teen Pageant program this February. We were happy to sponsor the daughter of one of our fine customers. Isabel Povey has been busy volunteering at her local food pantry and has shown great compassion for those in need. Isabel is a hopeful contestant and will compete for a chance to win the title, Miss USA Outstanding Teen, in Orlando, FLA this year.

Boy Loses $300 of Fishing Tackle. Lynch Pellet Stove Services Steps In.

Tom presents young boy with a new wallet containing $300 to replace his lost fishing tackle.

After reading through the Kingston, NH Community Page on Facebook, Tom came across a heartbreaking post about a 12 year old boy who lost his fishing tackle pack at a local fishing hole boat ramp. When the family realized the backpack was not in or on the truck after a day of fishing, dad shot back to the boat ramp, but the pack was nowhere to be found. The parents went on social media and pleaded with anyone that may have found the tackle, to return it.

The boy used his own money that he saved to buy this tackle. Tom decided to step in and offer a complete replacement of the boys lost gear. On Sunday, October 22, 2017, Tom and Julie met with the boy and his parents at the boat ramp where the gear went missing, and handed over a new wallet to the boy containing $300 to replace everything that was lost.

After sharing some stories, the boy presented Tom with a photo of himself, posing with a large bass. Tom’s reply to the photo? “This is worth more than what we gave you”.

We are proud to announce that we have earmarked  funds for the Thomas M Lynch Archeology Field School Scholarship at Strawbery Banke in Portsmouth, New Hampshire for its second year. “Our scholarships will allow three high school or college students attend the two to four week field school and we are very proud to be a part of this program for another year” says Tom Lynch, owner of Lynch Pellet Stove Services. Tom went through this same program in 2015 and after talking to some of the students that were attending the field school, he knew that he could help with some of the costs for future students of the program.

Funds are taken from the company’s bottom line and is earmarked for different programs for the following year. “We never ask our service customers for donations for these programs. We are happy to give back to community by using funds that are directly taken from our bottom line” Lynch says. “We are very happy to do it. We are proud to do it”.

The scholarship recipients will be listed here when they have cleared the screening process. The scholarships are awarded to enrolled in a related field and show a financial need. Applicants are required to write an essay as to why they have chosen archeology or related field and demonstrate their desire to attend the field school.

Tom Lynch met the three 2016 recipients of the Thomas M Lynch Field School Scholarship on the third day of the program at Strawbery Banke in Portsmouth, NH that began on June 13. The recipients received these awards based on their individual and academic needs, as well as essays that they needed to submit as part of the application process. The three scholarship recipients are Samantha Tickey, a senior Anthropology major at the University of Rhode Island; Sean Palmatier, a PhD student in the History Department at Northeastern University and Darcy Brown, a junior Anthropology and Environmental Studies major at Eckerd College. Congratulations to all three.

On April 30th, 2016, Lynch Pellet Stove Services donated funds to help the Hilldale Cemetery Association remove a dead tree in the cemetery, located on Hilldale Avenue, in Haverhill, MA.
The cemetery is the last resting place of over 4800 past residents of the city, including Civil War dead. “We were happy to be a part of this reclamation project on a cemetery that has been neglected for decades. It is beginning to shine again, and it was our pleasure to help” said Tom Lynch.  After a brief tour of the burial grounds, A check for $1000 was presented to Association President, Tom Spitelare.

Lynch Pellet Stove Services Partners with Strawbery Banke for Scholarship

The Strawbery Banke Museum unveiled the Thomas M. Lynch Archaeology Field School Scholarship on its website for 2016.

This year, Strawbery Banke is pleased to offer the Thomas M. Lynch Archaeology Field School Scholarship, made possible through a donation from T. M. Lynch Pellet Stove Services. One full and two half-tuition scholarships are available to high school and university student applicants to the field school. Students majoring in anthropology or archaeology-related disciplines are especially encouraged to apply.

The department will consider both academic achievement and financial need in its deliberations. Applicants for the scholarship should send an official current transcript to the department. Applicants should also submit a short 500-700 word essay explaining their desire to participate in this specific project and how the experience will contribute to the student’s current course of study and eventual career goals

Although registration for the field school is on a rolling basis, scholarship essays and transcripts are due by April 29, 2016.
